Lucy has discovered the pumpkins that spontaneously erupted in our compost pile. She doesn't seem to digest the seeds, if you know what I mean, so we're expecting to see pumpkin vines next year in all sorts of interesting places.
Just to give you a sense of how big Lucy has become, this is a 10-pound pumpkin.
Just kidding.

Yes - Merry told us Benni thinks he's part Great Dane. Lucy has no interest in Marmaduke cartoons, so I'm thinking not. She is very tall, but not thick like a Lab.
