A Little Snack from the Garden

Lucy has discovered the pumpkins that spontaneously erupted in our compost pile. She doesn't seem to digest the seeds, if you know what I mean, so we're expecting to see pumpkin vines next year in all sorts of interesting places.
Just to give you a sense of how big Lucy has become, this is a 10-pound pumpkin.
Just kidding.
Sort of.

Dog and Master

Here's a shot to show you how big Lucy is. This morning she stepped (not jumped) up onto our bed. It won't be long before we saddle her up and take grandson Evan for a ride.

No Fence for Her Tongue

Lucy has lost all of her teeth between her front canines and her molars, so her giant tongue won't stay in her mouth. Here she is wondering why all of her teeth aren't called canines.

Pretty in Pink

Sadly, we all knew this was going to happen someday.

Lucy's Growing Up

Just a couple shots of Lucy in the yard showing her progress as a proud, well-behaved dog. Ironically, while I'm writing this she's eating a whole scatter rug that we have in her crate.
