Lucy's Mom left her alone in the house for awhile today. When she returned, what was left of Mom's favorite garden hat was on the floor. Mom scolded her and, when Dad came home from work, he didn't give her her nightly biscuit. Lucy was sorry for what she had done.
Later on, Mom and Dad took Lucy for a long walk at Chatfield Hollow State Park, so she's not sad anymore.
