Lucy had her first trip to the Cape. She's not quite old enough to go without a leash, and she still needs a "Gentle Leader" collar to help her mind her manners.
She sat quietly while her parents ate at a Cafe.
Later in the nice motel that takes only good dogs, she enjoyed her new Nylabone - for about 2 hours.
Then, since she was on vacation, she tried out a new hair style

Lucy, you lucky dog! I love the Cape! I love the beach. I was afraid to swim when I was a little pup, but then I started to like it.
ReplyDeleteAnd tell your parents that if they go to the right place you can go off leash. I practically never have on a leash - except when we go to NCY or something like a park that says "Dogs Must Be On Leash". Oh, that's life, I guess.
Well, enjoy your summer. Do you think Aunt Merri will have a family reunion this summer? I'll have to give her a bark.

Lucy's parents are a little nervous about her running into the street or knocking someone over, because I am a little too exhuberant. I'm also a little nervous about water still, even though Benni and I are part (half? that much? really?) Lab.
